Dynamis Rules Empty

General Rules

1) In order to enter Dynamis you must have a job level 65 and have completed rank 6 in any of the home nations. Dynamis is a farming raid, so we prefer that you have a job at least 70+ in order to enter. Exceptions may be made where people are allowed to join at lower levels, usually this only happens if you only have one job at the game's required level.

2) The Golden Rule: Be friendly to your fellow members. Many people are on the game to have fun, so a bad attitude that may hinders the process of this very important objective will not be tolerated. This is Dynamis, it can be a challenging event for any job, so be ready to die at any given time without complaint - it's just part of the raid. We don't care how important you think you are, any job is disposable. Drama doesn't have a home here - this rule extends to Skype.

3) You cannot be placed on Tier unless you are able to wear the item. A level 1 THF getting TH4 gloves over a 75 THF who has it as his only 75 job is not very fair. Wanting an item for a future job is all well and good especially if the item goes to rot, but if it's a popular item, walk the line like everyone else has before you. Fair is fair, if you can't use it, then you don't need it.

4) Dual boxing is not allowed inside Dynamis. Also we can usually tell when someone is dual boxing because they tend to be inattentive and overall retarded (such as a bard who can't manage to keep ballad up for at least half the raid), so please be sure to let everyone know when you are going AFK, your fellow team members are sometimes counting on you to stay alive, even if you're a DD.

Recommended Behavior

These are moreso guidelines rather than rules, where nobody should give you grief if you choose not to adhere to them, but are encouraged for the overall benefit of the linkshell.

1) Job placement is important for success, so if you have a specific job available that happens to be needed, you may be asked to change to it; whether or not you comply with the request is solely at your own discretion. Fun takes priority of money, but remember that winning is fun.

2) Yummy! Food and Items makes a big difference especially when member numbers are low and we need that extra kick to come out on top of the game. The more we kill, the more we get done. More kills = more drops = more money return, ect. ect. However, if your grocery bills are too high and you might have to shut off your internet as a result, going on a diet isn't a bad idea.

3) Damage prevention is a key part of any raid. If mages don't have to worry about healing you then they can worry about buffing you, and buffs = more damage = more drops. Although pulling hate off the tank is good fun, a dead DD can't do damage, so /NIN is the recommended sub job with the exception of Dynamis - Xarcabard (since demons have ungodly high defense and don't spam AoE)

Lotting System

Lots are done via Tier system, meaning you get what you put out. 1 point is awarded for being ready and on time for the raid - we're not Nazis about being on time, but if you're holding up everyone else or we've already started and you're not there to help then it should count against you. Another point is awarded for attending at least half of the raid (90-105 min), and 2 points are awarded for attending the full raid. That's 3 points maximum for the mathematically challenged. Your name will be called in LS chat when you have right to lot an item. If you lot an item before "no penalty" is announced for the lot, then you will be taken off tier for your original item for that raid, if you are not on tier then you will lose a single bank point. You may only lot on multiple items if "no penalty" is announced for the next item and you meet the job requirements for said item.

To avoid conflict of real life and FFXI, tiers are separated by each day. This means someone who can only come 1 day out of the week can compete with someone who comes religiously every single day. The person who comes every day has the benefit of being on both tiers with maximum points while the once a week junkie still has a fair chance of getting the items he/she needs. It's not fair to do your fair share and reap no rewards just because someone has more time to piss away than you do, and that's why I think we should support it fully. Part time employees should get a pay check like everyone else.

Banking System

To award our linkshell for their efforts, and the long time veterans who graciously stay to help even though they pretty much have everything they need from dynamis already, we award our members with a dynamis payout at the begining of each month. All currency is collected by an officer then sold to a buyer, then redistributed to our members based on their attendance. If you are not on tier for an item during a raid, then you are awarded a single extra bank point for that run, all other bank points are accumulated in the same exact system as the Tier points. Payout is always given out during the first raid of every month, if you are not present at this time either inform the baking officer at a later time or be sure to collect your payout next raid. If you have a job level 75 and choose to come a job that is below level 75 then you can only collect 2 bank points per raid, out of the raw fact that a level 75 merited BLM does more damage and sticks more sleeps than a 70 BLM - same concept with any job, so low levels may still be rewarded for their efforts even though they are sub par.
